Let me start off by saying I used to be a big fan of Chris Brown. Big fan! When he came out with Run It, that was my jam!
My love for the lil bwoy, however, fizzled way before he gave RiRi the smack down. Yep, it happened when I met him in person last Feb when he accompanied RiRi to the Marley concert in Ja. You know the one where Ri screamed "Hi Kingston" when we were in Ocho Rios! (It's ok though Ri, trust me I have done a lot of knuckle head stuff in my time, so I don't hold it against you boo boo.)
I digress! So anyway I was backstage and here comes Chris Brown with his bodyguards. Now I have seen some overzealous fans in my time, but trust, I aint one! Why? Honestly cause I consider myself to be a shining star and don't think cause a person is a "celeb" that makes them better than me.
That being said I felt it would be ok to say hi and express my appreciation for his music and be on my way...Chris Beat Her Down had other plans! As I approached with a smile his bodyguard held me back. I get it everybody has a job to do so I was like,"I simply wanted to say hi to Mr Brown." After letting me through, I realised that Chris was complaining that the backstage was whack and was also perturbed that he couldn't get the beverage of his choice. Diva! (even though he wasn't billed and it was a charity concert) I should have stoped right there but I didn't. As professional as possible I introduced myself as a local journalist and said "Welcome to Jamaica Mr Brown". Yes people he even got the MR BROWN!. Clearly, however, dude didn't seem used to good manners and muttered under his breath "Yeah watever".
Ooooooh I was steaming! Now don't get me wrong I didn't expect him to do flips by me saying hi, but gosh darnit he coulda done better than that! I am a fan and fans sell records asshole! What perplexes me is how celebs fail to grasp this. Needless to say he was quickly erased from my Ipod. I was done!
Then he beat down RiRi, oh lordy lord!
Now couples will have their rifts, but he messed her up! And, ok some people say she hit him first. Even if that was the case there is no way a woman can out power a man in a fight. And this is bad in its self but its not like he gave her one hit to settle herself...no dude went to town like he was boxing Tyson!And he got off with probation. Where is the justice!
Anyhow Right Hook Brown was chillin with his BF, up and coming singer Teyana Taylor at Diddy's all white party this weekend. These two have even dyed a part of their hair in red. Chris has his in a lightening bolt. (Hope it don't strike yu fool!)
However what makes this story particularly interesting is that it is rumoured that he left Teyana hanging at Diddy's shindig and was seen hanging out (making out) with Kanye West arm candy Amber Rose. Say it ain't so! Now as a victim of rumors myself I am just hoping this is a rumor. Cause I like Amber, she is fashionably fierce and looks like she doesn't give a damn. But Amber give a damn about this! Chris Brown ain't it!
